Four filtration stages, inspired by nature
Your water passes through four coordinated modules. Each one has a specific function. Together, they transform tap water into revitalized water.
Primary filter
What doesn't belong stays out.
Two-stage sediment filter made of polypropylene foam with three times the dirt-holding capacity of conventional filter cartridges of similar size. The water passes through two filtration stages: The outer layer traps all particles larger than 25 μm. The inner layer contains an additional filter fleece with a pore size of 1 μm. This graduated pore size from the outside to the inside ensures maximum filtration performance.

Intensive filter
Carbon block filter made of coconut-based activated carbon combined with EM ceramic. Despite the high filtration precision of 0.5 μm (0.0005 mm), the water pressure drops by only about 0.5–1.0 bar. The extremely fine filter structure makes it possible to significantly reduce hormone and medication residues as well as organic compounds.

Limescale protection
Chemical-free limescale protection thanks to biotechnology. The filter cartridge uses ceramic granules with a special surface to initiate the process of heterogeneous catalysis. A similar process occurs naturally in mussels and corals. Tap water flows around the granules, on whose surface small seed crystals form within seconds. These crystals trap the lime, preventing it from adhering anywhere. The chemical composition of the water remains unchanged.

MAUNAWAI PI Filter
The Pi filter cartridge was developed specifically for the MAUNAWAI system and delivers exceptionally high water quality. Modeled after nature, the water flows through various layers of tourmaline ceramic beads, zeolite elements, and EM ceramics. Just as a stream originating from a mountain spring is restructured, this process restructures the water. Through the application of the five principles—filtration, information, optimization, harmonization, and bioavailability—the water is not only purified but also regenerated.
