PI®PRIME K8 Filter Cartridge – Maximum Water Quality for Medium to High Water Hardness

The PI®PRIME K8 filter cartridge is the ideal solution for households with medium-hard to very hard tap water (8 °dH and above).
It combines state-of-the-art filter technology with natural mineralization and ensures clean, great-tasting, and energized water—without any chemical additives.

Important note: This cartridge works only with the new threadless cartridge holders and is designed for the PI®PRIME K2 water system. 

Highly efficient filtration thanks to activated carbon and natural minerals:

• Coconut-based activated carbon: Just 5.5 g of activated carbon has a surface area of approximately 6,400 m²—this cartridge contains 60 g of granules, which corresponds to a massive surface area of about 70,000 m².
•  This allows for the particularly effective removal of contaminants, chlorine, odors, and chemical residues—without stripping away valuable minerals.
• Shungite: Releases fullerenes, which act as natural catalysts and promote the oxidation of unwanted substances.
• Zeolite: Binds heavy metals (e.g., lead, mercury, cadmium), ammonium, histamine, and even radionuclides through selective ion exchange and adsorption.

Innovative ceramic technology – more than just filtration:
The heart of the cartridge consists of over 20 different ceramic beads that work together in perfect harmony.
They supply the water with essential minerals and trace elements, promote its hexagonal structure, and thus ensure subtle regeneration and energization.

The most important ceramic beads and their functions:

• Alkaline, Chlorine, HSW, HSK ceramics: Reduce calcium content
• PI ceramics, tourmaline, quartz: Energize and restructure the water
• Zirconia and zeolite ceramics: Alkalize and make the water more alkaline
• Antimicrobial ceramics: Stabilize the water

The PI®PRIME K8 filter cartridge is far more than just a filter—it is a highly advanced water treatment system that purifies, remineralizes, restructures, and harmonizes your tap water. 

Replacement interval: every 10–12 months (depending on water quality). The chemical composition of

the water is not altered during the filtration process.
All minerals are fully preserved, which means that readings from TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meters may not change, even though the water is effectively purified, restructured, and energized.
