How it works – Natural filtration without chemicalsThe iron cartridge removes dissolved iron and manganese from the water through a catalytic oxidation process.
In this process, the iron is converted into a solid form and reliably filtered out of the water.
The result: clear, iron-free water, free of odors and deposits.

Requirements for Optimal Iron RemovalTo ensure the iron cartridge performs at its best, the following water parameters should be maintained:

• pH value: > 6.7
• Manganese: max. 0.1 mg/l
• Silicates: max. 100 mg/l

Typical usage volumes in liters under consistent ideal conditions:

• 1 mg/L iron → approx. 150,000 liters
• 2 mg/L iron → approx. 75,000 liters
• 3 mg/L iron → approx. 50,000 liters
• Flow rate: 15–25 l/min at 4 bar
• Operating pressure: 3–4 bar
• Operating temperature: 1–40 °C 
• Note: Protect from frost
